QuizBoards — A quiz game – directly in the browser

QuizBoards lets you create digital quiz boards for game nights that can be presented on a big screen, displaying categories of questions in rising difficulty and point value. One of you takes the role of host, presenting the board to the players, reading the questions aloud and judging their answers.

The players' phones become buzzers: scan a QR code, and press as fast as you can when you know the answer to a question that appears. As the host you can also connect a private answer view that discreetly shows you the correct answers.

Your games and your own categories are saved locally in the browser and only live on this device. Unlock premium and they are stored on your account instead, so you can reach them from all your devices.

What is QuizBoards?

Do I need to install anything?

No. QuizBoards runs entirely in the browser on computers, tablets and phones. Players only need to scan a QR code to connect their phones.

How do the buzzers work?

Each player opens the buzzer page on their phone by scanning the QR code on the host's screen. A press goes straight to the host screen, which shows who was first.

Can I write my own questions?

Yes. You create your own categories of five questions each and mix them with the ready-made question packs. They are saved in your browser, or on your account with premium.

Does QuizBoards cost anything?

You can play for free with the built-in question pack and your own questions. Extra question packs and premium – which stores games and categories on your account – are one-time purchases.

Which languages is the game available in?

The interface and the ready-made question packs are available in both Swedish and English, and you can switch language at any time.
